Spring Hockey Program Details
We are excited to introduce you to the Cumberland Hornets spring team 2025. The AAA Spring Hockey Development Program features weekly skill development, team practices with a possibility of several exhibition games.
Cumberland Hornets Spring Team will allow players to take part in the ultimate playing and development experience. Development is at the core of our team philosophy. Our coaching staff will work diligently to ensure players take away various tactical and physical skill sets, in order to aid in their development as young hockey players.
The program will run from early April until mid-June and include:
- Experienced certified coaches with extensive coaching, teaching & playing experience
- Each team will participate in tournaments with elite coaching and skill development with a minimum 16 hours of on ice development
- Possible exhibition games prior to tournament schedules
- Three tournaments minimum
- Specialized player/goalie development and skills training
Player Costs
Exact costs will be determined on selected tournaments, development hours and registered players. As we are a cost sharing team; therefore, the cost to run the team will be divided per player. For new Cumberland Hornet players, there will be an additional cost for team jerseys (Away/Home).
The costs when calculated will reflect the amount required to run the team and cost shared between the players.
Tryout costs will be determined by the amount of on ice times, and is about 10$-15$ per ice time.
We will also have fundraising opportunities and seeking sponsors to lower the cost; so, we welcome your fundraising ideas.
